De rapper haalde meerdere keren op zijn album It’s Only Me uit naar Akademiks. Het gaat als volgt: ‘Akademiks know he ain’t as rich as me, Brodie ready to eat for a twenty piece, I ain’t got nothin’ to say to you mini-mes.’ In eerste instantie moest Akademiks erom lachen maar nu haalt hij uit.
Op een stream van Twitch had Akademiks het weer over de diss op de tracks van Lil Baby en daagde hem uit. ‘I will fight Lil Baby for free or for money. I just wanna get in the ring with him. You ain’t got no 4PF, I will choke you to death, I will punch you in your face. You’re not doing shit. Stop it. You’re a fucking retarded rapper, you can’t do shit. Stop it.
